1. Return Policy

A customer may return LeanChair for a refund * within thirty (30) days of receipt if...

  • 1) the product has NOT been used,
  • 2) the product is in it's original factory packaging,
  • 3) there are no missing parts, and
  • 4) the customer has emailed our customer service department at and been given a Return Material Authorization Number.

A LeanChair may not be returned once it has been assembled and used. Custom-made LeanChairs are non-refundable.

* A restocking fee of 30% will be charged on all items returned, and the customer is responsible for ALL shipping costs associated with the return of the item.

2. Warranty Policy

We warranty LeanChair for ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the following qualifications:

Modifying LeanChair in any way voids the warranty.

Misuse of LeanChair, or using it in a way not intended as specified in the instruction manual voids the warranty.

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear nor does it cover cosmetic issues such as scratches, scrapes, chipping of painted or powder coated surfaces, etc.

Warranty does NOT cover "soft" components that are highly vulnerable to incidental damage during normal use, such as i) the footrest mat, ii) the backrest and legrest cushions, iii) the desktop, iv) the foam headrest, v) other plastic, foam and/or rubber components.

Please read the instruction manual carefully prior to using LeanChair to ensure proper usage.

LeanChair, Inc. will ship an immediate replacement for any part that have been determined to be defective AND is covered under this warranty policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeanChair does not - aside from the warranty provisions stated above - provide any other warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or any warranties that LeanChair will meet your specific requirements or expectations. Furthermore, LeanChair, Inc. makes NO claims regarding the suitability of LeanChair to improve any physical or medical condition.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume full responsibility for the use of LeanChair, and we disclaim liability to you for any injury, whether indirect, consequential, exemplary or incidental.

You acknowledge that the effects of prolonged leaning are unknown, the effects of using LeanChair are unknown, and if you choose to use LeanChair, you do so at your own risk and agree to take full responsibility for the use of LeanChair, and to hold LeanChair, Inc., its officers, employees, agents and assigns harmless for any injury or damage that may arise from its use.

By ordering and/or using a LeanChair, you acknowledge that LeanChair can - when improperly used and/or when unoccupied - cause injury or even death, and you agree to take precautions against - and to hold LeanChair harmless in the event of - such injury or death occuring. You acknowledge and agree that LeanChair, Inc. cannot prevent accidents of this nature, nor can it prevent deliberate misuse, and you agree to accept full responsibility for the safe use of LeanChair, and to hold LeanChair, Inc., its officers, employees, agents and assigns harmless in any case involving property damage, bodily injury or death.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) made against us by any third party due to or arising out of or in connection with your use of LeanChair, or in connection with your allowing others to use it.

4. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution

You agree that all matters relating to your use of LeanChair, including all disputes, will be governed by the laws of the United States and by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. You agree to the personal jurisdiction by and venue in the state and federal courts in Lexington/Fayette County, Kentucky and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue. Any claim under these Terms and Conditions must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or such claim or cause of action is barred.

In the event of any dispute between LeanChair, Inc. and you arising out of or in connection with your use of LeanChair, the parties shall attempt, promptly and in good faith, to resolve any such dispute. If we are unable to resolve any such dispute within a reasonable time (not to exceed thirty (30) days), then either party may submit such controversy or dispute to mediation in Lexington, Kentucky. If the dispute cannot be resolved through mediation, then the parties shall be free to pursue any right or remedy available to them under applicable law.

5. Force Majeure

You agree that we are not liable for any delays or failure in performance from any cause beyond our control.

6. Severability

If one or more sections of the Terms and Conditions are held unenforceable, then those sections will be removed or edited as little as necessary, and the rest of the Terms and Conditions will still be valid and enforceable.

7. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and LeanChair, Inc. and govern your use of LeanChair, superseding any prior agreements.

8. Amendments and Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions, at any time. Amendments or changes to these Terms and Conditions won’t be effective until we post them on the website. It is your responsibility to check the Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of LeanChair following the posting of said changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes.

9. Sales Tax

LeanChair, Inc. is required to collect sales tax from customers in Kentucky.
